Product Description

Description: Itromac-OC is a dermatological combination cream containing itraconazole for antifungal action, ofloxacin and ornidazole for antibacterial and antiparasitic effects, and clobetasol propionate as a potent corticosteroid, designed to address a spectrum of skin conditions including fungal infections, bacterial infections, and inflammatory dermatoses.

Mechanism of Action: Itraconazole is an antifungal medication that inhibits the synthesis of ergosterol, disrupting the integrity of fungal cell membranes and treating various fungal infections. Ofloxacin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic belonging to the fluoroquinolone class, effective against a range of bacterial infections by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV. Ornidazole is an antiprotozoal and antibacterial agent used to treat infections caused by anaerobic bacteria and certain parasites. Clobetasol is a potent corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory, immunosuppressive, and vasoconstrictive properties, often used to manage inflammatory skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis. Propylparaben and Methylparaben is used as a preservative.

Indications: Itromac-OC cream is used against treatment of complex skin conditions that involve multiple factors, such as fungal and bacterial infections, inflammation, and dermatitis.

Dosage: As directed by the physician.

Storage: Store at temperature not exceeding 250 Do not freeze.

Contraindications: Patients with a history of hypersensitivity or allergic reactions to any of the components in the combination should avoid its use.

Precautions:

Avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth or any broken skin or open wounds or cuts.
