MECHANISM OF ACTION: Dexamethasone acts by controlling the rate of synthesis of proteins important for chemotactic and immunologic reactions and suppresses inflammatory responses. Chloramphenicol is an antibiotic that works by stopping the growth of bacteria.
INDICATIONS: D-Chlorex Eye/Ear Drops is indicated for the treatment of bacterial eye and ear infections.
DOSAGE: As directed by the physician.
DIRECTIONS: Use the solution within one month after opening the container. Do not use it if the solution contains particles/suspended matter.
SIDE EFFECTS: Eye discomfort, itching, redness, tearing, eyelid crusting, feeling as if something is in your eye, blurred vision, a bad taste in your mouth, or sensitivity to light may occur.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to any components of this product.
