Mechanism of Action: Clobetasol is a potent corticosteroid that acts as an anti-inflammatory agent. It suppresses the immune response, reduces inflammation, and alleviates symptoms such as redness, itching, and swelling. Miconazole is an antifungal medication that works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, a component of the fungal cell membrane. This disruption weakens the cell membrane, leading to the death of the fungus and treating fungal infections. Neomycin is an antibiotic that interferes with bacterial protein synthesis. It is effective against a variety of bacteria and helps prevent or treat bacterial infections. Chlorhexidine is a broad-spectrum antiseptic that disrupts the cell membrane of bacteria, leading to their destruction. It is effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Chlorocresol is an antimicrobial agent with bactericidal and fungicidal properties. It works by disrupting the cell membrane of microorganisms, leading to their destruction. It is also used in various pharmaceutical products to increase shelf life.
Indications: Clob-GM is used to treat mixed skin infections by addressing inflammation, fungal infections, bacterial infections, and providing antiseptic properties to prevent further microbial growth.
