Merotorque 1 Dry Injection
Merotorque 1 is a sterile, semisynthetic, broad-spectrum carbapenem antibiotic for intravenous or intramuscular administration, which is a reserved drug for pneumonia and nosocomial pneumonia, used to treat UTIs, lower respiratory tract infections, meningitis, abdominal infections, etc.

Composition
- Meropenem (Sterile) I.P. equivalent to Meropenem (Anhydrous) – 1000 mg
- Sodium (as Sodium Carbonate) – 90.2 mg

- Pneumonia and Nosocomial Pneumonia
- Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs)
- Intra-abdominal Infections
- Gynaecological Infections
- Skin and Soft Tissue Infections
- Meningitis
- Septicaemia
- Empiric Treatment of Febrile Neutropenia
Storage
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Protect from sunlight, heat, and moisture.
Precautions
- Use only under the supervision of a qualified healthcare professional.
- Use with caution in patients with renal impairment.
- Inform the physician about any history of allergy to beta-lactam antibiotics.
- Monitor for signs of hypersensitivity during treatment.
- Use during pregnancy and lactation only if specifically advised by the physician.
- Complete the prescribed course of therapy to reduce the risk of antibiotic resistance.
