Mupiquick Ointment 5gm

Mupirocin is a topical antibacterial agent, active against those organisms responsible for the majority of skin infections. It is also active against Gram-negative organisms such as Escherichia coli and Haemophilus influenzae.

Mupirocin I.P. 2.0% w/w
Non-greasy Base q.s.

Indications

Mupirocin Ointment is used for the treatment of bacterial skin infections such as impetigo, folliculitis, and furunculosis.

Storage

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Protect from light. Do not freeze.

Precautions

For external use only. Not suitable for ophthalmic or intranasal use. Avoid contact with the eyes. If accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Do not use in conjunction with cannulae or at the site of central venous cannulation. Discontinue use and consult a physician if irritation or allergic reactions occur.
