DESCRIPTION:
Neurogenic is a globally accepted combination of potent analgesic and anti-inflammatory agents. Diclofenac is a benzene-acetic acid derivative non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) and controls inflammation. Paracetamol is a para-aminophenol derivative, that produces antipyresis by acting on the hypothalamic heat-regulating centre and analgesia by elevating the pain threshold.

MECHANISM OF ACTION:
Diclofenac sodium inhibits prostaglandin synthesis by interfering with the action of prostaglandin synthetase. Paracetamol is a valuable central analgesic but a weak peripheral anti-inflammatory agent and exhibits antipyretic action.
INDICATIONS:
Effective in the treatment of painful skeletal muscle spasms, fibrositis, trauma involving muscle ligaments and tendons.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Patients with asthma, urticaria or acute rhinitis as the attacks precipitate with the use of NSAIDs.
SIDE-EFFECTS:
Dizziness, lightheadedness, malaise, nausea, vomiting, and liver dysfunction.
DOSAGE:
As prescribed by the physician.
STORAGE:
Store in a cool, dry and dark place.
CAUTION:
Overdosage of paracetamol can cause kidney or liver damage.
