DESCRIPTION:Cipromac-FC is a combination of Ciprofloxacin Hydrochloride, Fluocinolone Acetonide & Clotrimazole. Ciprofloxacin is a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic. Fluocinolone Acetonide is a mild topical steroid, which reduces redness and itching of the skin. MECHANISM OF ACTION:Cipromac-FC absorbs into the skin cells and stops the production of chemicals that cause inflammation. This reduces the symptoms of swelling, itching and redness that are associated with inflammatory skin conditions & it also inhibits biosynthesis of ergosterol, damaging the fungal cell wall membrane, which increases permeability causing leakage of nutrients. Cipromac-FC kills bacteria by interfering with the enzymes that cause DNA to unwind and duplicate.INDICATIONS:Cipromac-FC is used for the treatment of inflamed conditions of the skin such as eczema and dermatitis which may be caused by infection with certain fungi and bacteria. Cipromac-FC is effective in the relief of inflammatory and pruritic dermatoses. Cipromac-FC is also used to treat the itching, redness, crusting, scaling, inflammation and discomfort of various skin conditions.SIDE EFFECTS:Sensitive reactions such as a rash at the application site, Burning or itching of the skin.CONTRAINDICATIONS:Contraindicated in case of any hypersensitive reaction to any of the ingredients in this medicine.PRECAUTIONS:Avoid contact with the eyes or mouth. Cipromac-FC contains Fluocinolone Acetonide which is a corticosteroid therefore it should not be used on broken or infected skin including cold sores, acne rosacea, chickenpox, ringworm, thrush or athlete’s foot.DIRECTIONS:To be applied as directed by the physician.STORAGE:Store at a temperature below 25° C.
