Mechanism of Action: Paracetamol has a central analgesic effect that is mediated through activation of descending serotonergic pathways. Its primary site of action, which may be inhibition of prostaglandin (PG) synthesis or through an active metabolite influencing cannabinoid receptors.
Indications: Paracin IV is indicated for the Management of mild to moderate pain in adult and pediatric patients 2 years and older, management of moderate to severe pain with adjunctive opioid analgesics in adult and pediatric patients 2 years and older as well as reduction of fever in adult and pediatric patients.
Dosage: As directed by the physician.
Storage: Store in a dry place, protect from sunlight.

Contraindications: Paracin IV is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to the paracetamol or any excipients from the dosage form and Patients with severe hepatic impairment or severe active liver disease.
