Montor-LC tablet combines levocetirizine and montelukast to provide dual relief from allergy symptoms and asthma by blocking histamine and inhibiting leukotrienes, respectively. It is effectively managing symptoms and improve respiratory health.

MECHANISM OF ACTION:
Montelukast is a leukotriene receptor antagonist. It blocks certain natural substances (leukotriene) that cause asthma and allergy. Levocetirizine, is a third-generation antihistamine and works by blocking histamine receptors. Histamine is a chemical released by mast cells which is responsible for causing allergy-like-symptoms. On binding the levocetirizine with histamine receptors, the levocetirizine inhibits the histamine releasing from mast cells and prevents the release of allergy causing chemicals and thereby increases the blood supply to the area and prevents the allergic symptoms.
INDICATIONS:
Montor-LC tablet is commonly prescribed in adult to treat symptoms of allergy such as runny nose, sneezing, itching, swelling, congestion, and watery eyes. It is also help in the treatment of asthma and skin allergies.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Montor-LC tablet is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to the drug or any excipients from the dosage form.

Nausea, Headache, Dizziness, Fatigue, Dry mouth, Nasopharyngitis
