DESCRIPTION:
Ambroxol is the metabolite of bromhexine and a mucolytic agent. Ambroxol acts as secretolytic agent used in the treatment of respiratory diseases associated with viscid or excessive mucus. Guaiphenesin is an expectorant that increases respiratory tract fluid secretions and helps loosen phlegm and bronchial secretions.

MECHANISM OF ACTION:
Ambroxol facilitates mucociliary clearance by intensifying the motion of the cilia present on the ciliated respiratory epithelium. By reducing the viscosity of secretions, guaiphenesin increases the efficiency of the mucociliary mechanism in removing accumulated secretions from the upper and lower airway.
INDICATIONS:
Asthmatic cough, whooping cough, post-surgical cough, dry cough, smokers cough, chronic cough.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the product.
SIDE EFFECTS:
Dizziness, headache, nausea, nervousness, or trouble sleeping may occur.
DOSAGE:
As prescribed by the physician.
STORAGE:
Keep away from children. Store in a cool, dry place. Protect from light.
