DESCRIPTION: Torex Breathe Better Capsule is a fast-acting inhalation therapy formulated with Camphor, Eucalyptol, Chlorothymol, Menthol, and Terpineol. It helps provide quick relief from nasal congestion, cold, sinus discomfort, and blocked nose by soothing the airways and easing breathing with its refreshing vapours.

COMPOSITION: Each soft gelatin capsule contains: Camphor USP 25 mg, Eucalyptol USP 125 mg, Chlorothymol 5 mg, Menthol IP 55 mg, Terpineol BP 120 mg and Excipients q.s
MECHANISM OF ACTION: Menthol is primarily employed to relieve symptoms of bronchitis, sinusitis, and similar conditions. For this purpose, it may be administered as an inhalation or incorporated into an ointment along with camphor and eucalyptus oil for application to the chest and nostrils. Camphor, when applied externally, acts as a rubefacient and a mild analgesic. It is also a principal ingredient in many nasal decongestants used for inhalation. Eucalyptus oil is commonly used for inhalation, often in combination with other volatile substances. Its active component, eucalyptol, possesses antibacterial properties and helps alleviate breathing difficulties in individuals with croup, asthma, and bronchitis. It is also applied externally to relieve chest congestion, ease muscular aches and pains, and serve as a deodorant. Terpineol exhibits anti-infective properties, while chlorothymol, a multipurpose phenolic antiseptic, is particularly useful for symptomatic relief from the common cold.
INDICATIONS: Torex Breathe Better Capsule is indicated for the prompt relief of symptoms of common cold, sinusitis, pharyngitis and other conditions accompanied by congestion of the upper respiratory tract.
DOSAGE: 1 capsule 2-3 times a day.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Snip off the tip of the capsule. Squeeze out contents into a half litre of boiling or hot water and Inhale the vapours deeply and freely. Add on a tissue or a cloth handkerchief and inhale. At night, the inhalant can be effectively used on the pillow or nightdress.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: The use of Torex Breathe Better Capsule is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the formulation.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: No adverse events have been reported with the use of Torex Breathe Better Capsule.
WARNING & PRECAUTIONS: Direct contact of Torex Breathe Better Capsule with the eyes and nostrils is to be strictly avoided. In case of exposure to the eyes or nostrils, rinse/wash thoroughly with cold water. Torex Breathe Better Capsule is not intended for oral administration. Torex Breathe Better Capsule should never be exposed to flame or kept near a microwave.
