Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine that works by blocking the action of histamine, a substance in the body that contributes to allergy symptoms. By inhibiting histamine, chlorpheniramine reduces the effects of allergic reactions, such as sneezing, itching, and watery eyes. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant that affects the cough center in the brain. It works by decreasing the urge to cough, providing relief from dry or unproductive coughing without causing the sedative effects. Phenylephrine is a nasal decongestant that works by narrowing the blood vessels in the nasal passages. This constriction reduces swelling and congestion in the nasal tissues, making it easier to breathe. Indications: Torex tablet is used to treat cough, runny or stuffy nose, sneezing, itching, and watery eyes caused by allergies, common cold, or flu.
