DESCRIPTION: Torgyl Suspension is a combination medicine containing norfloxacin and metronidazole as its active ingredients. It is used for the treatment of loose motions caused due to mixed bacterial infection.

MECHANISM OF ACTION:
Metronidazole kills parasites and anaerobic bacteria that cause infections by damaging their DNA. Norfloxacin works by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing the bacteria. Together, they treat infection effectively.
INDICATIONS:
For the treatment of diarrhea or dysentery due to bacterial, protozoal or mixed origin infection in pelvic inflammatory diseases.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the product.
SIDE EFFECTS:
Nausea, Headache, Dryness in mouth, Metallic taste
DOSAGE:
As directed by the physician.
WARNING:
Metronidazole has been shown to be carcinogenic in mice and rats. Unnecessary use of the drug should therefore be avoided.

Store in a cool and dry place. Protect from light.
