Torque’S Telmitor H Tablets

Torque’s Telmitor H Tablets contain Telmisartan & Hydrochlorothiazide, which are a combination of an angiotensin II receptor antagonist and a thiazide diuretic, respectively. The combination of these ingredients has an additive antihypertensive effect, reducing blood pressure to a greater extent than either component alone.

Each uncoated bilayered tablet contains:

Telmisartan I.P. 40 mg
Hydrochlorothiazide I.P. 12.5 mg
Excipients q.s.

Indications

Indicated for the treatment of hypertension to lower blood pressure.

Storage

Store protected from light & moisture at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.

Precautions

Avoid use in patients with hypersensitivity to any ingredient or sulphonamide-derived substances, during pregnancy or lactation, and in patients with severe hepatic or renal impairment. Monitor for electrolyte imbalance and inform the physician about concurrent medicines, particularly lithium, potassium-altering agents, digoxin, antidiabetic medicines, NSAIDs, beta-blockers, cholestyramine, and colestipol. Concomitant use with aliskiren-containing products is contraindicated in patients with diabetes mellitus or renal impairment.
