It is antimicrobial and bactericidal. Sodium Fluoride is used to prevent cavities. It makes teeth more resistant to decay caused by acid and bacteria. Zinc Chloride is a necessary trace element in the diet, forming an essential part of many enzymes and playing an important role in protein synthesis and in cell division.

Silver Sulfadiazine is a sulfa derivative topical antibacterial used primarily as a topical burn cream on second and third-degree burns. Chlorhexidine Gluconate is a chemical antiseptic. It kills both gram-positive and gram-negative microbes. It is also bacteriostatic.
