TOREX COLD & FLU contains an analgesic-antipyretic Paracetamol with decongestant Phenylephrine and an antihistamine Chlorpheniramine Maleate. Paracetamol is a para-aminophenol derivative, that produces antipyresis by acting on the hypothalamic heat-regulating centre and analgesia by elevating the pain threshold. Phenylephrine Hydrochloride is a selective 1-adrenergic receptor agonist used primarily as a decongestant. Chlorpheniramine Maleate an alkylamine derivative is anti-histaminic that causes a moderate degree of sedation. Sodium Citrate is a mucolytic, an agent which breaks down mucus so that coughing up phlegm is easier. Ammonium Chloride is the expectorant that thins mucus. Menthol gives a sensation of coolness.

TOREX-LS JUNIOR is an oral liquid which is used in the treatment of cough with mucus.

Ambroxol is the metabolite of bromhexine and a mucolytic agent. Ambroxol acts as secretolytic agent used in the treatment of respiratory diseases associated with viscid or excessive mucus. Guaiphenesin is an expectorant that increases respiratory tract fluid secretions and helps loosen phlegm and bronchial secretions. Desloratadine is a non-sedating long-acting antihistamine with selective peripheral H1-receptor antagonist activity, which has demonstrated antiallergic, antihistaminic, and anti-inflammatory activity.
