CEFTORQUE T 1.125 INJECTION

Description: Ceftorque T 1.125 Dry Injection is a medication that combines Ceftriaxone and Tazobactam and is used in the treatment of bacterial infection.

Route of Administration: Injection

Composition: Each Vial contains: Ceftriaxone Sodium (Sterile) Eq. to Anhydrous Ceftriaxone                                 I.P.        1000 mg Tazobactum Sodium (Sterile) Eq. to Anhydrous Tazobactum  I.P.          125 mg

Mechanism of Action: Ceftriaxone belongs to the class of antibiotics that works by interfering with the formation of the bacterial cell wall (a protective covering) necessary for their survival. Thereby damages the bacterial cell wall and kills bacteria. Tazobactum is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that enhances the activity of ceftriaxone and decreases resistance.

Indications: Ceftorque T 1.125 is used to treat Respiratory Tract infection, Intra-Abdominal Infection, Urinary Tract Infection, Septicemia, and Meningitis.

Dosage: As prescribed by the physician.

Side effects: Nausea, Headache, Dizziness, Abdominal pain and Diarrhoea

Contraindications: Ceftorque T 1.125 is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to the beta-lactam antibiotics.

Storage: Store protected from light and moisture at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C.
