Mr. P.S. Chhatwal, the driving force behind the inception and success of TORQUE Pharma, was guided by a profound vision to enhance the overall societal well-being. He embarked on the journey of establishing the company by joining hands with ourco-founder, Mr. A.I.S. Bedi. Possessing a substantial background in science and eight years of marketing experience at Sarabhai Chemicals, he was well-equipped for the challenges in the pharmaceutical industry.

Fuelled by an earnest commitment to provide healthcare solutions that are efficient, and accessible, Mr. Chhatwal’s diligence and dedication were evident from the outset. His vision, rooted in the belief that medicine should be within reach of the masses, set the course for TORQUE Pharma’s transformative journey.

Over the years, TORQUE Pharma has emerged into one of the fastest-growing pharmaceutical entities, a testament to Mr. Chhatwal’s foresight and leadership. The organization remains steadfast in its commitment to bettering the lives of millions through innovative medical solutions that prioritize quality, safety, and efficacy.

Mr. Chhatwal’s legacy extended beyond the corporate realm. As a senior member of the Himachal Drug Manufacturers Association and an active participant in meetings of the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), he played a pivotal role in shaping the pharmaceutical industry’s landscape.

His values continue to guide TORQUE Pharma, ensuring the availability of high-quality medicines for humanity. We honour his memory by upholding the principles he instilled in the organization, and we remain dedicated to the pursuit of a healthier, more accessible world for all.

Mr. A.I.S. Bedi, is a pioneer in the pharma industry who partnered with Mr. P.S. Chhatwal to initiate TORQUE Pharma’s journey in 1985. Embodying the ethos of leading by example, Mr. Bedi has been an integral force, propelling growth across all facets of the enterprise. With sharp business insights along with strong leadership abilities, Mr. Bedi, stands as a foundational pillar, fostering the company’s evolution.

With a profound experience of over 40 years, Mr. Bedi has steered the company’s trajectory, epitomizing the philosophy of ‘Keep Walking’. He believes in persisting through challenges while aiding others on their path, thereby emphasizing values that have become the cornerstone of TORQUE Pharma’s identity.

As the Executive Director of Torque Pharmaceuticals, Mr. Mandeep Singh stands as a paragon of visionary leadership. A frontrunner in TORQUE Pharma’s expansion initiatives, Mr. Singh is intricately involved in optimizing manufacturing processes and refining management strategies. His meticulous attention to detail is evident as he diligently scrutinizes operations, ensuring a thorough approach and ultimately bolstering TORQUE Pharma in all its endeavours.

Under his leadership, Mr. Singh fosters an environment that encourages professional growth and collaboration among our dedicated team. Under the dynamic leadership of Mr. Mandeep Singh, TORQUE Pharma thrives as a beacon of excellence, innovation, and ethical integrity in the pharmaceutical industry.

His professional journey led him to acquire a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Panjab University, followed by a pursuit of a Law degree from the renowned Department of Laws, Panjab University, demonstrating a diverse and comprehensive educational background. In a bid to broaden his perspectives, Mr. Singh travelled to the United Kingdom, where he gained invaluable experience working with esteemed pharmaceutical giants such as Pfizer and Wyeth. This international exposure significantly contributed to his profound understanding of multinational operations, a knowledge base he effectively leverages in his role at TORQUE Pharma.

Mr. ABHAY SINGH BEDI

Mr. Abhay Iqbal Singh Bedi, serving as a Director at Torque Pharma, has injected a fresh and dynamic approach that is aimed at propelling the company to unprecedented success. His forward-thinking and multifaceted engagement encompasses pivotal responsibilities, including astute oversight of product development. He also holds a significant position in formulating and executing TORQUE Pharma’s marketing strategy, utilizing his expertise to bolster the company’s visibility and outreach initiatives.

With sharp focus, Mr. Bedi has played a key role in building a modern identity for TORQUE Pharma by fostering a culture of innovation and adaptability, exploring new opportunities of growth while upholding the highest standard of ethics, integrity and industry compliance by remaining actively involved in formulating the company’s way of working.

His professional journey commenced upon obtaining his Law degree from Institute of Legal Studies at Panjab University. Further enriching his knowledge base, Mr. Bedi pursued an MSc. in Social Innovation & Entrepreneurship from the prestigious London School of Economics. This international academic pursuit broadened his horizons, providing invaluable insights into driving innovation within established businesses on a global scale. This alignment with TORQUE Pharma’s mission of fostering accessible healthcare for all underscores Mr. Bedi’s commitment to advancing the company’s noble objectives.
