Clotrimazole is a broad-spectrum antifungal that belongs to the class of imidazole and triazole derivatives.

MECHANISM OF ACTION:
Clotrimazole acts by inhibiting the division and growing of fungi. It alters the permeability of the fungal cell wall and inhibits the activity of enzymes within the cell. It specifically inhibits the biosynthesis of ergosterol and other sterols required for cell membrane production eventually leading to cell death.
INDICATIONS:
Ringworm or yeast infections, athlete’s foot and jock itch.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of this medicine.
SIDE EFFECTS:
Burning, stinging, swelling, irritation.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Unwrap the tablet before use. Follow the package instructions on how to fill the applicator with the vaginal tablet. Lie on your back with your knees toward your chest. Insert the tablet or the applicator into the vagina as far as it will comfortably go. Slowly press the plunger of the applicator to release the tablet.
STORAGE:
Store at a temperature below 25℃. Do not freeze.
