MINOXIGAIN F 5% TOPICAL SOLUTION

DESCRIPTION: Minoxigain F 5% is a lipid-based topical solution that combines two scientifically proven agents for the treatment of androgenetic alopecia (male pattern baldness): Minoxidil, a potent vasodilator that stimulates hair follicles to promote regrowth, and Finasteride, a 5α-reductase inhibitor that reduces scalp dihydrotestosterone (DHT), the primary hormone responsible for hair loss.

DOSAGE FORM: Liquid

ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION: Topical

COMPOSITION: Each ml contains:

Minoxidil      IP  5% w/v

Finasteride  IP  0.1% w/v

Base                     q.s.

MECHANISM OF ACTION: Minoxigain F 5% Topical Solution works through a dual mechanism: Minoxidil: Increases blood flow to the hair follicles, prolongs the anagen (growth) phase, and enlarges miniaturized follicles, leading to thicker hair strands. Finasteride: Inhibits the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), thereby reducing miniaturization of hair follicles and preventing further hair loss. Together, they work synergistically to: Stimulate dormant follicles, prevent hair thinning, reduce hair fall and Encourage visible hair regrowth.

INDICATION: Minoxigain F 5% Topical Solution is indicated for the treatment of alopecia androgenetica (male pattern baldness) in men in the age group of 18 to 60 years.

Clinical experience with Minoxidil & Finasteride solution indicates that application for 4 or more months may be required before evidence of hair growth stimulation can be expected.
