DESCRIPTION: Pantoprazole is a substituted benzimidazole and belongs to a group of drugs called Proton Pump Inhibitors (PPI’s). It is used to treat certain conditions caused by too much acid being produced in the stomach. PACKING: 24x10x10 capsules

MECHANISM OF ACTION: Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that suppresses the final step in gastric acid production by forming a covalent bond to two sites of the (H+, K+ )- ATPase enzyme system at the secretory surface of the gastric parietal cell. INDICATIONS: Gastro-oesophagal reflux disease (GERD) and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. CONTRAINDICATIONS: Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to the product. SIDE EFFECTS: Headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting. DOSAGE: As directed by the physician DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Take each dose an hour before a meal. Take pantoprazole at around the same time every day. STORAGE: Keep all medicines out of the reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place, protect from light. PRESENTATION: 10×10 capsules in a cardboard carton
