MECHANISM OF ACTION:Aloe vera has a role in increasing capillary blood circulation in the dermis; hence skin nutrition of the epidermis is improved. Skin elasticity is maintained by collagen. Synthesis of collagen & counterbalancing of collagen breakdown is mediated by Aloe vera through one of its important ingredients, Ascorbic acid which is known to promote ribosomes to synthesize collagen. Vitamin E has been used as an aid to control dry or chapped skin.
