COMPOSITION:

MECHANISM OF ACTION:
Relex cough syrup, a combination of Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride, Sodium Citrate, and Ammonium Chloride, is an antitussive and expectorant cough mixture. Diphenhydramine is an antihistamine that relieves congestion and post-nasal drips. Ammonium Chloride is the expectorant that thins mucus. Sodium Citrate is a mucolytic, an agent which breaks down mucus, so coughing up phlegm is easier.

INDICATIONS:
Symptomatic relief of perennial and seasonal allergic rhinitis, vasomotor rhinitis and allergic conjunctivitis, temporary relief of runny nose, and sneezing caused by the common cold.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the product.

SIDE EFFECTS:
Dizziness, dry mouth, and G.I disturbances may occur. Excitation, confusion, and respiratory depression may occur after overdose.

PRECAUTIONS:
Shake well before use. Avoid medication. It May cause drowsiness in an occasional patient, so sedative materials like alcohol should be avoided.
