Torex Rhinoryl Nasal Drops

Xylometazoline is an imidazole derivative that is designed to mimic the molecular shape of adrenaline. Xylometazoline is a drug that is used as a topical nasal decongestant. It is applied directly into the nose, either as a spray or as drops.

Benzalkonium Chloride Solution (Preservative) I.P. 0.02% v/v

In an aqueous isotonic solution using Purified Water I.P. q.s.

Indications

Indicated for nasal congestion associated with colds, flu, sinusitis, and nasal allergies (allergic rhinitis).

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place. Protect from light.

Precautions

As directed by the physician. Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity, narrow-angle glaucoma, or atrophic rhinitis. Instil the stated dose into each nostril with the head tilted backwards. Do not use for more than 7 days, as a rebound effect or tolerance to the medication may occur. Use the solution within one month after opening the container. Do not touch the dropper tip to any surface, as this may contaminate the solution.
